German – Polish Festival for Young Musicians – Bremen, september 2018

Between the 12.-17. of September 2018, the 2nd German-Polish Festival for Young Musicians took place in Bremen. The main aim of the workshop will be to support young musicians from Germany, Poland and Austria. 70 talented students of music schools and music academies will improve their skills under the guidance and tutelage of outstanding teachers. It will also be a great opportunity to share various teaching methods as well as a great prospect for long-term cooperation and exchange. In addition to the master classes, there will be lectures and a discussion forum on contemporary teaching methods, as well as a concert with the participation of lecturers and young musicians. One of the guiding principles of the festival is the integration of young people of different nationalities, which will result in further personal contacts. The initiative will also provide an opportunity to activate Polish-German circles in Bremen. The patronage over the musical project was taken on by the Senator for Finance for Bremen, the Mayor of Gdańsk, the Consul General of Poland in Hamburg and the Mayor of Przemyśl.
