Dear Friends,
for the eighth time we are organising our German-Polish Festival for Young Musicians in Bremen.
As in previous years, we will have the pleasure of hosting around 130 young talented artists in Bremen, mainly from Germany and Poland, but also a small group from Denmark. The young guitarists, pianists, violinists, flutists and choirs, will hone their skills under the guidance of excellent pedagogues from all over the world.
In addition to master classes for individual students as well as small and large groups, the festival will include activities to deal with stage fright, various lectures and discussion forums on music education in Europe and worldwide. The young artists will also have the opportunity to present themselves in two concerts at the Hochschule für Künste, as well as in the beautiful church in the heart of Bremen, the St. Johann Propsteikirche.
To make their stay in Bremen even more attractive, the organisers have planned various activities, such as a visit to one of the largest Mercedes factories in the world, as well as to the famous private art gallery of one of the festival’s most important donors, Mr. and Mrs. Hollweg.

Am 17. September findet ein weiteres Galakonzert des Fördervereines für junge Musiker aus Deutschland und Polen e.V. statt. Blickt dieser engagierte Förderverein auf eine überaus positive Entwicklung.
Unter der Leitung erfahrener Pädagogen wird für dieses Galakonzert ein gemeinsames Repertoire erarbeitet. Talentierte junge Musiker erfahren in Bremen auf diese Weise eine neue musikalische Perspektive: Erste Auftritte vor großem Publikum, Teilnahme an deutsch-polnischen Musik-Workshops, Begegnungen mit hervorragenden Dozenten, Musikprofessoren und Gleichaltrigen aus verschieden Kulturen. So werden jedes Jahr aufs Neue deutsch-polnische Brücken gebaut.
